DMV Inspection Station Resumes Regular Schedule Tuesday June 10 Open 6 am - 6 pm.
Code Red Service Hours Canceled.

(Washington, DC) The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles has canceled Code Red service hours for Tuesday, June 10 at its Vehicle Inspection Station, located at 1001 Half Street, SW, due to a change in the weather and air quality forecasts which were downgraded to Code Orange by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.

The Vehicle Inspection Station will resume regular hours of operation Tuesday, June 10, 2008, opening at 6 am and closing at 6 pm. The Vehicle Inspection Station operates Monday - Friday from 6 am-6 pm, and Saturdays 7 am-3 pm. During observation of Code Red Service Hours on Monday, June 09 – hours of operation were 5 am – 1pm. Customers that had Online Scheduled Appointments for Tuesday, June 10 as of Friday, June 6 may keep those appointments that were canceled today due to the previously forecasted Code Red early closing for June 10 and will receive emails and calls to update them of their appointments.
