(Washington, DC) The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles Inspection Station, located at 1001 Half Street, SW, will observe code red heat advisory service hours, opening one hour earlier at 5 am and closing five hours earlier at 1 pm due to the unhealthy air quality and excessive heat forecasts for Friday, July 18. Regular hours of operation are 6 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday and 7 am – 3 pm Saturdays.
The Inspection Station provides vehicle safety and emission inspections.
