DMV Georgetown and Brentwood Service Centers
Changing Days and Hours of Operation
(Washington, DC) Effective Wednesday, January 2, 2008, the District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles will change the days and hours of operation for two of its Service Center locations.
The Georgetown DMV Service Center (located at 3222 M Street, NW in The Shops at Georgetown Park Mall - Lower Level) will begin a Tuesday through Saturday schedule to provide more convenient service hours to residents of the District of Columbia by offering an additional service center location with a weekend day to conduct their business with the DMV.
Currently, the DMV has one Service Center (95 M Street, SW) that operates on a Tuesday - Saturday schedule. The hours of operation for the Georgetown DMV will remain 8:15 am - 4 pm., but the Georgetown DMV Service Center will no longer be open on Mondays. Effective January 2, 2008, the days of operation will change from Monday - Friday to a new schedule of Tuesday - Saturday 8:15 am - 4 pm.
Due to the new schedule commencing the week that ushers in the New Year, customers should note that the Georgetown DMV Service Center will also be closed on Monday, December 31, 2007. The Georgetown Service Center provides vehicle registrations and renewals, titles, driver license and identification cards issuance & renewals and services for Non-US Citizens and Diplomats.
Additionally, the Brentwood DMV Service Center (located at 1233 Brentwood Road, NE) will change hours of operation from 10 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday to a new schedule of 10:15 am - 6 pm
Monday - Friday. The Brentwood Service Center provides vehicle registrations and renewals, titles, driver license and identification cards issuance & renewals.
No changes to the hours of operation for all other DMV Service Centers, Inspection Station, Commercial Driver License (CDL) Office, Road Test Lots and Adjudication Services.
