To title or register a vehicle, you must provide at least one primary source document,
as listed below, to satisfy proof vehicle value.
Primary Sources (one required) - must be original:

Used Car:
- Actual purchase amount shall be indicated on back of title transfer block.
Note: Fair Market Value for calculating excise tax on used cars is based
on the value indicated in the current National Automobile Dealers Association
(NADA) Business Guide for the Eastern Region. If the NADA guide does not
provide the fair market value for a particular vehicle, applicable bill
of sale shall be used.
