In a continuing effort to ensure compliance with Title 18, the DMV, at its discretion, may conduct on or off site audits. Dealers found to be in violation of any provision of chapter 4 or 5 of title 18 will be subjected to a fine up to $1,000 for each violation and/or suspension and revocation. Dealership whose suspension has been suspended or revoked must return all dealer tags, temporary tags, title reassignment forms and temporary registration certificate to DMV within 5 business days of suspension/revocation notice.
