To obtain a license, non-driver identification card and/or registration with the new address, please bring the following to any DC DMV Service Location:

• Current License, Non-Driver Identification Card and/or Registration
• Proof of Residency
• Fee Payments - if requesting duplicate license or duplicate registration

Failure to update your address with the DMV may result in an inability to send you inspection, license, vehicle registration renewals, ticket notices, license suspensions/revocations and other pertinent DMV documents. As a result, you may experience inconveniences and fees.
