A valid DC vehicle inspection is required to renew vehicle registration. The DMV also makes vehicle registration renewal convenient by offering these services at many DC DMV service locations.
Note: If an individual is changing address during vehicle registration renewal, he/she must do so in person and present a valid proof of residency document.
